Whether you are looking for first-year beginner, intermediate, or professional-level instruments, Tatum Music Company is here to help. We keep all our major brands and models in-stock and ready to go.

We work with the directors of our partner schools to offer their preferred brands of instruments, supplies, and accessories.

We offer maintenance and repair services six days per week in both our Longview and Tyler locations. We do not ship instruments away to be serviced. Walk-ins are always welcome.

Our road representatives visit each of our partner schools once a week to deliver supplies and repairs, which saves you time, expense, and hassle. We are all former band directors, and we know how to support your program.

We have been part of the East Texas Community for over 75 years. Our company owner, Doice Grant, is actively involved in the day-to-day operations and is onsite in our stores nearly every day. His consistent presence ensures that employees and customers alike have direct access to leadership. Always approachable and eager to help, he’s available to answer questions, provide guidance, and support the team whenever needed.
