When you’ve been in business for 76 years, you occasionally find long forgotten treasures. One such uncovering is this Ludwig Bronze Shell Piccolo Snare drum. There is no marking beyond the serial number on the keystone plate, but we believe it to be a LB553 Black Beauty snare. 3×13, it is an excellent piccolo snare, with a freshly replaced Remo batter head. This New-Old-Stock drum is available now for $320 and will include a Ludwig hardshell case as pictured.
