As part of our dedication to the band programs of East Texas, we will be sponsoring the following professional development clinic:
Starting Beginner Woodwinds
This workshop is a hands-on clinic designed to put the directors “in the drivers seat”. Directors will bring both flute and clarinet and be taught as if YOU were the beginner. Brandon Garmon and Sherry Poteet will share their success (and some failures) of teaching beginners in heterogeneous as well as homogeneous classes.
Tatum Music Co. will be sponsoring the workshop. All participants will receive a complimentary t-shirt and free reeds. There is NO fee to attend the workshop and certificates of attendance will be available for professional development credit.
