Our own Neil Grant will be part of a panel at the 2020 Texas Music Educators Association Convention this February. He will be one of five former band directors who will discuss the history of the TMEA Band Division through their own experiences. The clinic is titled “#TMEA100: History of the Band Division as Told by Five Legends” and will be at 10 am on the Thursday of the convention in room CC220. Ross Grant of Irving will be the moderator, the other panelists are Richard Crain, Barbara Lambrecht, Alfredo Cortinas, and Bill Woods. Attendees will also receive a copy of Ross Grant’s dissertation on the History of TMEA.
